The Perlisten Story

The audio engineers behind Perlisten have credentials that would make any audiophile jealous. CEO and co-founder Daniel Roemer has over 25 years of experience in the hi-fi industry and an impressive background in research and development for companies including NHT, Acoustic Research, Advent, and MITek Corporation. CSO and partner Lars Johansen also has several decades’ worth of hi-fi audio experience under his belt from working with JBL, Harman Kardon, Klipsch, Jamo, and others. 

The team behind Perlisten has a deep love of listening to great music and a desire to share that love with others. The company aims to create speakers and subwoofers that elevate listeners’ passions and invoke physical and emotional responses through Perceptual Listening©. 

Perlisten has a global footprint and made its U.S. entrance in 2021 at the virtual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) conference. Its debuts included its flagship S7t tower speaker and the D212s subwoofer.

Proprietary Speaker Technology

Perlisten uses advanced, proprietary technologies to achieve the highest fidelity from its products. The patent-pending directivity pattern control (DPC) array waveguide is centered by a Beryllium tweeter, ultra-lightweight carbon fiber midrange domes, and carbon fiber woofers. The result is high-fidelity sound with remarkable accuracy, unmatched smoothness, and incredible dynamic range and control. 

Additionally, Perlisten’s S-Series speakers are the first and only loudspeakers in the world to receive THX Dominus certification. THX (founded by filmmaker George Lucas of Star Wars fame) certifies home electronics and loudspeakers that meet critical industry standards for quality, consistency, and performance. Electronics that are certified at the Dominus have been thoroughly tested and identified as products that can reproduce cinema-quality sound for expansive home theater spaces.

The S7t tower is available in standard piano black or piano white finishes, special edition wooden finishes, or special edition custom painted.
