Masking Screens

Display Technologies offers several masking screens that support multiple aspect ratios, allowing you to watch your content in its native format. Matching your films and TV shows to the right-sized display avoids the appearance of black boxes on the sides, top, or bottom of the screen. DT has motorized one-way, two-way, and four-way masking systems. In addition, some of these screens come with a retractable artwork panel that can cover your display when it’s not in use. 

Fixed Screens

Display Technologies offers two on-wall fixed screen options: the Contempo and the Frontier. The Contempo has a micro-bezel aluminum frame and front-loading image surfaces, while the Frontier has a velvet finish frame and front-loading image surfaces. Both have an easy installation process with simple mounting points to set the height and rotation angle. 

Screen Technology

DT’s theater screens use advanced technologies to produce a top-notch technical performance. All image surfaces are created using closely knitted filaments that deliver perfect flatness, consistent spectral response, and image uniformity across the entire screen.

The masking screens use proprietary WhisperTec motors that are incredibly smooth and quiet during operation. Each screen is programmed with Mask Position Logic software, which precisely and accurately positions the mask bars at any aspect ratio.
