Magico A3

The Magico A3 is a floorstanding loudspeaker that comes in at 44” in height and 110 lbs. in weight. Like other Magico speakers, it’s designed with a sealed-box enclosure and internal bracing to reduce resonances and colorations. The A3 is very much a brainchild of Magico in terms of sound engineering: it’s a full-range speaker with four drivers, Magico’s exclusive Elliptical Symmetry Crossover topology, and excellent power handling. There’s no question that the A3 sounds just as magnificent as Magico’s other product lines.

But what sets the A3 apart is the purpose behind its debut. Like other top-rated hi-fi brands, Magico isn’t in the business of compromising the value of its high-quality products with a lower price tag. The A3 breaks that mold. Magico A5

In 2021, Stereophile magazine declared the Magico A5 loudspeaker as the loudspeaker and overall component of the year. The A5 is — simply put — a fantastic-sounding speaker. It’s the largest of the A models at 44.75” in height and 180 lbs. in weight, and it looks impressively durable with a sealed enclosure made of aircraft-grade aluminum. Inside this monolith, complex bracing stiffens the enclosure, minimizes unwanted resonances, and allows all drivers the space to perform at their best.

Aesthetics aside, what truly sets the A5 apart is the advanced driver technology incorporated into the design. The A5 model has five drivers: three 9” woofers, a 5” pure midrange driver, and a tweeter.  The woofers and midrange drivers are designed with new cone technology that drives rich, thundering bass and crisper, cleaner midrange frequencies. The midrange driver is sealed in its own sub-enclosure to shield it from the back wave of energy from the bass drivers.

The Magico A5 is a dynamic, full-range loudspeaker that handles all frequencies with ease. With deep and clear bass, neutral mids, and crisp highs, the A5 delivers magnificent high-fidelity performance.
