What the Experts Have to Say About the Perlisten S7t Tower Speaker
Find Out Why Audiophiles Are Embracing This New High-End Speaker
Although initially founded in 2016, Perlisten Audio didn’t hit the big stage until 2021 with the release of their Perlisten S7t Tower Speaker featuring THX technology. The company’s flagship speaker takes their goal of perceptual listening to a whole new level. The S7t tower speakers are the only luxury loudspeakers certified as THX-Dominus—the company’s highest rating.
Since its release, the S7t has garnered much praise beyond its THX certification. It won an award from Residential Systems and has gotten glowing reviews from some of the top industry trades. However, to really gauge their quality, we recommend demoing them firsthand at our showroom. Our showroom is the only one within 300 miles of Bergen County, NJ, to have this revolutionary speaker on display.
In the meantime, we don’t want you to take our word for it. Below is some of the amazing praise these speakers have garnered since their release in 2021.

Audioholics
Audioholics reviewer James Larson gave the speakers top grades for performance and value. The most impressive aspects of the speakers were their accuracy, wide dynamic range, sound imaging and build quality. As far as aesthetics, he reviewed a speaker with a "gorgeous striped ebony veneer," though the speakers are available in a wide range of custom finishes.
He addressed the 2-channel and theater implications of the speaker's advanced THX technology by testing the speakers with both albums and movies. Particularly for 2-channel applications, the S7t's showed why they're worth their high price point.
“The audio performance is superlative from top to bottom. These are one of the most accurate speakers that I have reviewed and also one of the most dynamic…Vocals and instruments sounded realistic with an outstanding sense of clarity and natural timbre. The even-handed tonality combined with the evocative soundstage gave the reproduction of this album the holographic presentation of stereo sound at its finest.”
StereoPhile
Kalman Robinson reviewed the speakers for StereoPhile, first impressed by their elegance compared to other hi-fi models. He pointed out the unique design with seven drivers—four woofers—to create more dynamic sound. His “first impression was of a full clean sound, which [he] found quite pleasing.”
It took some adjustment to get the proper placement for the true immersion and sound dimensions advertised by the speaker to come through. However, once he found the sweet spot, he encountered a surprising depth of sound and detailed sound-imaging that outshone anything he had ever tested before.
“I'm used to having multiple subwoofers, and yet, with the S7t, I do not feel bass-deprived because the lows I hear are full, dynamic, taut, and balanced at all listening levels—not only when played loud... It's rare to find an audio product, let alone a loudspeaker, that is beyond reproach. The S7t is one such loudspeaker.”
